The Boardman River Nature Center’s Fishing for Kids
The Boardman River Nature Center’s had a fishing pond for kids for their grand opening and I donated bait for the kids.
Thanks to the support of more than 250 donors, ground was broken for the Boardman River Nature Center on September 20, 2007. We are in the final steps of our campaign to bring the Center to life, and you can be a part of it! And now, your gift counts more than ever thanks to a 1:1 challenge grant from Grand Traverse County.The Nature Center is now open!
Mission: To provide an environment that inspires exploration, appreciation and conservation of our natural world.
Location: The Boardman River Nature Center is located on Cass Rd. just 1.5 miles south of South Airport Rd.
Hours:Open Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Closed Saturday and Sunday
Labor Day Weekend:Open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Closed Monday, Sept. 1
After Labor Day Hours will Change:Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm,Wednesday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, Closed Saturday and Sunday
